The Sheldon Bactron IV-900 Anaerobic Chamber is a robust and durable workhorse for any lab needing isolation of specimens in a controlled environment. With a 900 plate capacity and temperature control from ambient to 70°C in a controlled atmosphere, it is the perfect platform to increase your throughput and efficiency.
Chamber atmosphere circulates through a condensate controller then through a catalyst, which removes any trace amounts of oxygen. High relative humidity is maintained while condensate moisture is removed without the unnecessary dessicants, which can dehydrate media and samples. Each unit contains an integral vacuum pump to provide rapid evacuation of air from the air lock module for replacement by an inert gas mixture.
Bactron systems have airtight construction of stainless steel and rigid Plexiglas for unobstructed vision and integrity. The patented cuffs form a comfortable seal around the operators arms permitting bare hand manipulation of plates and specimens inside the working chamber, making work more comfortable and efficient.
This system comes with many extra features, such as footpedal vacuum and gas control, two Sheldon CAT180 Convection Ovens, various seals and cuffs, plate holders, upper light assembly, dessicant packages, rear wall incubator, bottom rolling cabinet, software, user's manuals and heavy duty vacuum pump. Controls are easy to learn and very basic.
Our techs have checked this instrument and found it to be in perfect working order. We bought this machine from a lab in Texas where it was very much in use until shortly before we received it. It has been thoroughly decontaminated and cleaned.
We ship worldwide. We will crate this for shipping. There would be an EXTRA CHARGE OF 0 FOR CRATING which would be added to your invoice. We build our own crates in shop of top-notch materials so your purchase will arrive unscathed from shipping. The unit will be well padded with 2" foam rubber inside the crate with strapping, bubblewrap and blanketing as neccessary. All loose items will be packed firmly so nothing moves around inside during shipping to avoid any damages. Even with all this TLC we still will insure your shipment for full value and we will allow a 30-day right of return should you decide it won't work for you. Buyer must pay any return shipping charges. If you are located within 250 miles of Sonora, California we can arrange to deliver this to you personally in our company truck for a reasonable prearranged fee and will remove the crating charge. Please note that freight charges for this item will be quite high due to its size and weight.
We do not offer installation or service once delivered. We do guarantee this will not arrive DOA and with all systems go. Setup time before use will probably be about 4 hours. All plates, consumables, and gases are the responibility of the buyer to obtain.
